Spring Break Outing
Are you ready for summer? Are you dreaming of playing games, sitting poolside, and balmy weather? Well...we know it’s Iowa, so we’ll try the next best thing – spending a Saturday afternoon/evening together enjoying games, munchies, laughter and later, swimming! Join us on Saturday, March 13 at the Vriendschap Village from 2:00-4:30 PM for games and fellowship. From 5:00-9:00 PM, we’ll be at the Comfort Inn for swimming and games. Please feel free to bring a snack to share. We ask that children have a guardian to watch them in the pool area. Too tired to go home? Rooms are available at the Comfort Inn for $56. Please sign up on the information table in the conference room. ORC's "What I'm giving up for Lent" FB group |

Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, February 17, and we are asking our congregation to prayerfully consider "giving up" something for the Lenten season. One way that we will be keeping each other "accountable" is by having a Facebook group "ORC's What I'm giving up for Lent".
Many of us spend a lot of time on Facebook and why not utilize it to be a great support system during this journey.
